Clinic Manager
Whether you are a Pedorthist or an experienced manager, you’re passionate about what moves us all. You love to support those who provide care to people, and from experience, you know that the daily administration of a busy clinic can get in the way of delivering excellent care. As Clinic Manager, you control the pace and the level of Zen in your clinic. You remove barriers and empower the clinical team to do what they do best – help people with foot pain! Working within our well-defined BioPed systems, together with a talented team and amazing vendors, you’ll apply your leadership and organizational skills to provide a consistent world-class client experience, with every client… every time!
If this sounds like you, we may have the perfect opportunity for you.
We’re BioPed Footcare, and we know that to truly improve life for our clients, we need to do more than offer the same treatment for everyone. With over 65 clinics in Canada, we offer effective custom treatment plans for clients and even manufacture custom orthotics on-site.
Our mission is to enable people to live their lives to the fullest by helping them alleviate their foot pain. To continue to help our clients do more in life, work, and play, we’re looking for a Clinic Manager for our clinic.
About the Clinic Manager role:
As our new Clinic Manager, your goal is to provide an organized, collaborative environment that allows your clinicians to do their best work and makes clients feel welcomed, comfortable and in good hands. You’ll do this by:
- Ensuring that communications are clear and the team is aware of any new developments or announcements and following the BioPed way
- Creating a positive, well-organized environment for staff
- Checking appointments and reviewing client files/documentation are complete
- Engaging with new clients and reviewing services, products, and fees
- Handling client concerns and enquiries
- Managing the team, schedules and time away
- Participating in recruiting and on-boarding new staff
- Leading and coaching existing staff
- Managing the flow of clients, products and supplies though the clinic
- Managing inventory levels, ordering and managing inventory
- Entering purchase paperwork into the inventory system
- Keeping up to date with industry knowledge and BioPed policies
- Working with clinic owners and the home office team
You’ll excel in this role if you are:
- Compassionate – you’re calm, warm, understanding, and you always make your team feel valued and supported when you work with them.
- A team player – you have an all-hands-on-deck mentality and are always willing to jump in and support your team wherever needed.
- Accountable – you’re a believer in the ‘serve the server’ model and committed to taking responsibility for your team
- Knowledgeable – you’re passionate about delivering an excellent experience for clients and your people, and you’re always eager to share best practices to continuously improve and keep up with industry trends.
- Courageous – health care is complex and there’s a lot we don’t know. BioPed has an amazing support system at your disposal. You need to be comfortable asking for advice when you need to and humble enough to say ‘good question, I don’t know’.
- A problem solver – you’re an excellent listener, and you can gather information effectively to minimize their concerns and resolve their issues.
- We want to know what you absolutely love within your scope so we can offer you more opportunities to grow your clinic the way you envision (e.g., leading, teaching, supporting student development through coaching, etc.).
We have efficient and sophisticated programs and tools (including our on-site fully equipped lab), so you’ll benefit from our modern, technology-based environment and enjoy support in all aspects of your role.
About this opportunity with BioPed Footcare:
This is a full-time permanent position working daily, typically from Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with flexibility for some evenings and Saturday’s.
